Nature of Products Sold Thrift Diver's Market specializes in the sale of used, refurbished, surplus, and consignment scuba and rebreather equipment, including but not limited to: Closed-circuit rebreathers (CCR) Semi-closed rebreathers (SCR) Dive computers Cylinders and regulators Oxygen sensors Buoyancy compensators Technical diving accessories Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all products are used. 3. Used Equipment Disclosure You acknowledge and agree that: Used life-support equipment carries inherent and increased risk. Equipment may have unknown prior use, wear, or service history. Cosmetic condition does not guarantee mechanical or functional integrity. You are solely responsible for: Having all equipment inspected by a qualified and certified technician before use. Replacing oxygen sensors as appropriate. Performing proper assembly, testing, and maintenance. Ensuring compatibility between components. Failure to properly inspect and service equipment may result in serious injury or death. 4. Assumption of Risk Scuba diving, technical diving, and rebreather diving are inherently dangerous activities that may result in: Serious injury Permanent disability Drowning Decompression sickness Oxygen toxicity Death By purchasing or using equipment from Thrift Diver's Market, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with diving and the use of life-support equipment. 5. No Technical, Medical, or Dive Planning Advice Information provided on this Site is for informational purposes only. We do not provide: Dive planning services Configuration recommendations Medical advice Training certification Operational guarantees You are responsible for obtaining professional instruction and guidance where necessary. 6. Certification Requirement for Restricted Equipment Certain equipment, including but not limited to rebreathers, mixed-gas regulators, and oxygen service components, requires specialized certification. By purchasing such equipment, you affirm that: You possess appropriate certifications. Your certifications are current. You understand proper operation procedures. You will not allow untrained individuals to use the equipment. We reserve the right to cancel any order if certification cannot be verified. 7. Sales Policy and Returns Due to the nature of life-support equipment: All sales are final unless explicitly stated otherwise. Life-support and electronic equipment are non-refundable. Consignment items are non-returnable. Any approved return must be unused and in the same condition as shipped. Shipping costs are non-refundable. 8.
